African thug who kicked dying Melbourne doctor after stabbing is already free

A violent African teenager who savagely kicked a Melbourne doctor in the face while he was dying of knife wounds inflicted by his friend has already been released from jail.

Dr Ash Gordon, 33, was stabbed to death near his home in Doncaster on January 13 last year after chasing four teenagers who broke into his home, and on Wednesday a 17-year-old male, who cannot be identified due to his age, was found guilty of his murder by a Melbourne Supreme Court jury.

The 17-year-old, who showed no remorse throughout the trial and tried to argue self-defence, stabbed Dr Gordon 11 times and later told friends “n*gger’s just killed a guy” referring to himself, and said he was going to steal a car, do more home invasions on the Gold Coast, and then flee overseas.

The killer’s co-offender, who also cannot be identified due to his age, was originally charged with murder but was allowed to plead guilty to assisting an offender, aggravated burglary, common assault and car theft, the Herald Sun reported.

After his friend fatally stabbed Dr Gordon, the teen thug kicked the dying man in the face and later burned their clothes while the murderer filmed and laughed.

“We’re done for, done for, psych, no we’re not. Where’s the evidence, cuz? Where’s the evidence?” he said in the video.

But by the time the 17-year-old was found guilty this week his co-offender had already been free for three months, having been let out of youth detention in March on a 16-month community corrections order.

After his release he celebrated with a social media video showing him walking out of the facility to the tune of a rap song titled Talk of the Town, with lyrics including “Man’s way too lit to be walkin’ around, talk of the country, not talk of the town. Get the drop on an opp, stalkin’ ‘em down”.

He is seen carrying bags full of clothes and smiling as he ducks under a garage door, before the person filming is told to stop.
