Police are hunting for a suspect of Indian appearance after an elderly woman was allegedly scammed out of cash in Adelaide last month.
South Australia Police said on Friday the woman was allegedly deceived into handing over cash after receiving a series of phone calls between July 11 and 15, and a suspect then turned up at her home in Keswick.
Investigators are now seeking to identify the suspect, and are appealing for anyone who recognises him to call or contact Crime Stoppers online.
“The man is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, olive complexion, short, of a skinny build wearing a North Face navy zip-up jacket and black pants,” police said.
Police have not revealed how much cash was allegedly stolen.
