A homosexual former swim coach who was arrested over an alleged international satanic paedophile ring has pleaded guilty to possessing child abuse material.
Convicted sex offender Mark Andrew Sendecky, 42, was arrested in November last year by NSW Police Strike Force Constantine, which was set up to investigate the alleged Sydney-based child abuse network.
Sendecky had been released on parole two months earlier and was living at the Nunyara Community Offender Support Program Centre, which backs onto Long Bay jail, after serving a four-year sentence for possessing 1,200 images and videos of children being sexually abused.
He faced Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday where he pleaded guilty to one charge of possessing child abuse material obtained using a carriage service, Newswire reported.
According to court documents, Sendecky admitted downloading child abuse material onto his phone within a month of being given parole, despite previously promising to undergo prison rehabilitation programs so he would not reoffend.
Sendecky, who competed on homosexual swim teams the Glammourhead Sharks and the Wett Ones in Melbourne and Sydney and was a coach at Masters Swimming Victoria, will appear in court again on November 30.

Two other men, Benjamin Raymond Drysdale, 47, and Stuart Woods Riches, 40, were arrested at Nunyara along with Sendecky, and on the same day as the alleged ringleader – homosexual aboriginal journalist Landon Ashton Versace Germanotta-Mills.
Before his arrest Germanotta-Mills, a former Network 10 intern, regularly posted far-left extremist content on social media, including demands for Australia Day to be abolished, promotion of Black Lives Matter, and articles attacking neo-Nazis.
He was released on bail but rearrested after breaching his strict conditions, and in July was hit with 20 more child abuse and bestiality material offences.
In January, Strike Force Constantine detectives arrested and charged former Rotary award-winning NSW Police officer David Charles Turner, 42, followed by HIV-positive homosexual Colin Milne, 62, in February.
All five are facing multiple child abuse material-related charges, but are yet to enter pleas ahead of their court appearances later this year.
Police alleged after Sendecky’s arrest that child abuse material shared by the paedophile ring was “among the most extreme we have seen”, and involved baby victims, the “use of satanic iconography”, and torture.
In August it was revealed that seven foreign nationals had been arrested in Uruguay, England, Poland, Mexico and the United States, after NSW Police detectives referred information to international law enforcement partners.
Police previously said they had identified 145 alleged offenders overseas.
