Punish One Nation for its immigration rug pull

The great One Nation rug pull of August 2026 is a tragedy for the ages.

After telling us for months that it wants to cut immigration to 130,000 gross (as it still says on its website as I write this), One Nation is now gaslighting us that its policy is, and was always, 130,000 net, effectively tripling its proposed immigration intake if as many people leave Australia as they did in 2024-25.

And according to new MP David Farley, who was bafflingly recruited from the agribusiness sector even though he’s an immigration shill, the party additionally wants to let in many more on temporary working visas on top of this. According to Farley, One Nation now has an immigration policy “not too different” from Labor’s.

How the hell Farley thinks the people of Farrer elected him in a landslide as Pauline Hanson’s guy without supporting her stance (at the time) against mass immigration, God only knows. I guess Farley doesn’t particularly care why the people of Farrer elected him.

Considering One Nation is functionally a dictatorship, we can’t simply pin this on Farley – it seems quite clear that Pauline and the gay man under her who actually runs the party have no respect for you, their voter base.

They know that what makes them popular far above all is their opposition to mass immigration. Pauline might sound stupid, but she isn’t that stupid. She’s been in this game for decades, she knows how it’s played.

They think they can install immigration shills cliqued up with the agribusiness lobby like Farley (and Barnaby Joyce), rug pull us on their immigration policy in order to get donations from pro-immigration farmers, and that all you stupid goyim will keep voting for them anyway because you have no better option.

But One Nation is delusional if it thinks it can win an election without the support of its radical patriot base – those of us who read articles like this on websites like this – who must now turn against this joke of a party as vociferously as we can.

This is a delusion, however, we can only break if we flood comment sections with our discontent, both of One Nation politicians and their complicit shills, boost all the right-wing content creators who call this out, unfollow all who rationalise or excuse it, and move our vote elsewhere if One Nation doesn’t re-commit to the immigration policy that remains on its website at the time of writing.

If One Nation doesn’t feel the impact of our collective discontent, then it has no incentive to rectify this. So this is the test, whether we are all disciplined enough to throw a big enough tantrum that it is forced to pander to us. Either that, or we at least make it go down in the polls enough to make political space for a new populist anti-immigration party to rise on its fringe.

This situation also raises a deep concern about whether One Nation is committed to the other policies on its website. Especially its free speech policy. The website commits to repealing all hate speech laws, abolishing all censorship bodies, and holding a free speech referendum to enshrine it in our constitution. But when do you hear this commitment come out of Pauline’s mouth?

Hugo Lennon, organiser of the March For Australia, recently commented on One Nation’s refusal to support his August 30 nationwide free speech marches. I heard that behind the scenes One Nation has been giving all kinds of ridiculous excuses as to why representatives won’t attend. The obvious reason why they won’t be there is that they simply don’t support free speech.

At a time when our government is trying to use UN treaties drafted by the Soviet Union to overpower our constitutional democratic rights and ban nationalism, the cowardice of One Nation’s leadership on this is unforgivable. They are effectively complicit in a communist plot to abolish Australian democracy if they cuck on this, which it seems increasingly like they will.

The best way to stick it to them then, is to come out and march without them on August 30 for free speech, and for actually ending mass immigration. March for the things that actually matter and show One Nation that we don’t need them, but they need us. See you there.
