A male hairdresser has been arrested for allegedly drugging and raping two other men inside his Sydney salon.
NSW Police said on Friday they launched an investigation in June after two men aged 34 and 37 were allegedly sexually assaulted at the hair salon on Gardeners Road in Rosebery.
Police allege the owner of the business met the men on an online dating site and invited them to the salon where they unknowingly given a substance before being sexually assaulted.
The two separate incidents allegedly took place on March 8 and May 25 this year.
Detectives from the South Sydney Police Area Command then arrested a 39-year-old man at the salon at about 11am on Friday, and took him to Mascot Police Station.
He was later charged with two counts of use intoxicating substance to commit indictable offence, and two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, and refused bail to appear in court on Saturday.
