A “transgender” father who killed his four-month-old son is suing a US corrections agency for refusing to provide him with “gender reassignment” surgery while he serves his life sentence.
Cory Wallace, 31, who claims to be a woman and wants to be called “Nikki Wallace” and “Astrid Allison”, is demanding a payout of $500,000 from the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC), with the assistance of far-left legal advocacy group the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
Wallace was sentenced to 72 years’ imprisonment in 2015 after a court found he caused the death of his infant son Jenson, and then set the boy’s room on fire to cover it up. An autopsy showed baby had been shaken severely, had broken ribs, torn tissue in his mouth, cuts and scrapes, and was severely underweight.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Eric Hoffman said at the time that “most animals treat their offspring better than Cory Wallace treated his”, and Judge Marianne Vorhees described seeing images of the baby’s body was “like watching the worst horror movie you could imagine”.
Wallace, who was diagnosed with “gender dysphoria” in 2020 and began receiving estrogen and anti-androgen hormones in 2021, attempted to change his birth certificate to female in 2023 and is now demanding full “sexual reassignment surgery”, Reduxx reported.
The ACLU is representing Wallace in the federal lawsuit, which challenges a 2023 state law that prohibits the IDOC from using public funds to give inmates so-called sex changes.
In the lawsuit the ACLU claims Wallace’s desired surgeries would be comparable to those undergone by women during treatments for cancer, and claims denial of the surgery amounts to “deliberate indifference” and “cruel and unusual punishment”, and violates his civil rights.
“With the hormones she has developed breasts and her body fat has changed to contour her body like a birth-assigned female,” The ACLU complaint reads, referring to Wallace with female pronouns throughout.
“Her penis and testicles absolutely disgust her. She cannot go to the bathroom without thinking of castrating herself. She wishes to have an orchiectomy, which would remove her testicles, and a vaginoplasty, which would surgically create a vagina in place of her penis.”
The ACLU also successfully represented another “transgender” baby killer, face-tattooed Jonathan Richardson, who earlier this year claimed to be in a sexual relationship with Wallace.
Richardson, who calls himself a “transfeminine polyamorous and pansexual” and converted to Islam in prison, was sentenced to 55 years’ jail for murdering his infant stepdaughter in 2002, but in March was quietly released 30 years early.
Wallace and Richardson both have tattoos of their victims’ names.
According to the Bureau of Justice statistics and advocacy groups like the Prison Policy Initiative, there are about 4,000 to 6,000 inmates in US prisons and jails who claim to be transgender, with the majority being biological males.
