Mystery woman allegedly sets speed camera on fire in Queensland

Police have made an appeal for public assistance tracking down a person who allegedly set a speed camera on fire in Queensland.

The speed camera trailer on Hoppers Road at Barney Point was extensively damaged at about 4.15am on May 9, Queensland Police said on Thursday.

The fire was extinguished a short time later and no one was injured.

CCTV footage released by police shows a person, who appears to be female, who may be able to assist with their investigations, wearing a large hooded coat and carrying two objects.
