Labor MP slammed by Aussies after melting down over remigration

A federal Labor MP has sparked a furious response from everyday Aussies after melting down over growing calls for remigration and mass deportations.

Julian Hill, Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs, and Multicultural Affairs and the member for the immigrant-dominated electorate of Bruce in Melbourne, lashed out in an X post on Saturday where he called on the Liberal Party to condemn the concept of remigration.

Mr Hill post came after Liberal senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price was attacked by left-wing journalists and pro-mass immigration Labor MPs for appearing on combat veteran Sam Bamford’s popular 2 Worlds Collides podcast.

Mr Bamford regularly advocates for remigration, which is also supported by the US government and included in the policy platforms of mainstream parties in Europe, including the Freedom Party in Austria, the AFD in Germany, the Danish People’s Party in Denmark, and Restore Britain in the UK.

Nationals leader Matt Canavan then defended Mr Bamford as a “good Australian” who was entitled to express his views, and Liberal leader Angus Taylor refused to condemn Ms Price, saying she agreed with the party’s “Australian values” immigration policy, and did not support discriminating on the basis of race.

“‘Remigration’ is a vile, racist concept-to deport millions of Australians who don’t have white skin. Why can’t the Liberal Party just condemn such racist garbage? Why do they constantly get embroiled in issues of race?” Mr Hill wrote.

“You hear them say ‘Australia is for Australians’ – and I agree. But Australians come in all shades and backgrounds. We rightly expect new migrants to integrate and adopt Australian values in our democracy but that doesn’t mean everyone is the same.

“I love Australia as it really is – not the delusional version where only White people live that One Nation and Coalition extremists fantasise about.”

Mr Bamford was among those who responded to the post, and challenged Mr Hill to a debate.

“Come on my podcast and debate me then Julian, your ideas vs my ideas, cmon Julian, debate me on my podcast and we will let the people decide,” he wrote.

Other Aussies objected to the post, saying there was nothing wrong with wanting millions of non-Australians to return to their home countries.

“Australia is for Australians. A piece of paper does not make you Australian, just as moving to India or China wouldn’t suddenly make me Indian or Chinese,” wrote political commentator Kobie Thatcher.

“Our ancestors didn’t build this great country for Labor to turn us into a minority in our homeland.”

“’Remigration’ is actually an awesome concept to deport millions of foreigners who are incompatible with Australia,” wrote commentator and Substack author Celina.

“Integration and assimilation are failed concepts. Many from third world countries are simply unable to do this in Australia,” wrote March for Australia organiser Bec Freedom.

“They are incompatible with our way of life and are destroying our country, turning it into the very thing they left. Ignoring things like per capita, cultural differences and the importance of demographics is denying facts and prolonging the fall of Australia. We need #RemigrationNow, millions must go!”

Mr Hill, who is homosexual, is an outspoken advocate for mass immigration and multiculturalism, and last month announced $41.6 million in grants for immigrant groups for community infrastructure.

Labor has brought in about 2.5 million immigrants into Australia since May 2022, for a total net overseas migration intake of 1.5 million, pushing up housing and rental crisis, exacerbating the cost-of-living crisis and damaging social cohesion.
