A Middle Eastern man has been charged and two explosive devices seized in connection with the alleged firebombing of a Sydney beauty salon.
Police alleged a bomb was set off outside the Beauti Lab on Concord Road in Concord West at about 11.10pm on June 15, and said after the incident the wrong business may have been targeted.
Investigators then carried out search warrants in Padstow and Bardia on Wednesday morning, resulting in the seizure of two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), an Audi SUV believed to have been used in the incident, electronic devices and personal items.
Two IEDs have been seized and a Middle Eastern man, 29, charged over an alleged firebombing in Sydney earlier this month.

A man of Middle Eastern background, 29, was arrested at Padstow property, and a 31-year-old woman was arrested in relation to peptides seized from the Bardia address.
The man was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with “possess explosive with intent to destroy others’ property”, “damage property by fire/explosive”, and two counts of “possess/attempt to prescribed restricted substance”.
The woman was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with “possess/attempt to prescribed restricted substance” and “owner not disclose identity of driver/passenger”.
Both were refused police bail to face court on Wednesday.
