Hezbollah on Saturday confirmed the death of their leader Hassan Nasrallah, 64, as a result of a massive Israeli airstrike on Beirut ordered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while on US soil.
“His Eminence, the Master of Resistance, the righteous servant, has passed away to be with his Lord and to His pleasure as a great martyr, a heroic, daring, brave, wise, insightful, and faithful leader, joining the caravan of martyrs of the eternal, luminous Karbala in the divine, faith-based path in the footsteps of the martyred prophets and imams,” the group said in a statement.
“His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, has joined his great and immortal martyred comrades, whose path he led for nearly thirty years, during which he led them from victory to victory, succeeding the Master of the Martyrs of the Islamic Resistance in 1992 until the liberation of Lebanon in 2000 and to the glorious divine victory in 2006 and all the battles of honor and sacrifice, arriving at the battle of support and heroism in support of Palestine, Gaza, and the oppressed Palestinian people,” they continued.
“The leadership of Hezbollah pledges to the highest, most sacred and most precious martyr in our journey full of sacrifices and martyrs that it will continue its jihad in confronting the enemy, in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defense of Lebanon and its steadfast and honorable people.”
Israel conducted a massive strike on Beirut on Friday, destroying Hezbollah’s headquarters and leaving giant craters in the ground. The Israeli air force dropped “about 85 bunker-penetrating bombs weighing a ton of explosives each,” according to Israel’s Channel 12.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave the order for the strike while on US soil in New York and the Jewish state carried out the strike most likely using US supplied bunker-buster bombs.

The assassination of Nasrallah came just one day after Israel announced they had secured another $8.7 billion in US aid.
The US, which claimed to be seeking a ceasefire, said they had no knowledge of the strike and were not tipped off by Israel in advance.
This massive escalation of the war comes as the US has amassed 40,000 troops in the Middle East along with aircraft carriers, fighter jets, attack planes, Navy destroyers and cruisers to intimidate Lebanon and Iran from responding to Israel’s aggression.
Israel is doing everything in their power to start World War III. No one in our government with any power is pushing back against it and Secretary of State Antony Blinken et al. are doing everything in their power to back the Jewish state to the hilt.
