A manhunt is underway for a brown-skinned man after a female jogger was sexually assaulted in broad daylight in Melbourne.
Victoria Police said a 19-year-old woman was running along Whitehorse Road in Blackburn at 11.10am on Monday August 26 when she was approached by an unknown man.
“He sexually assaulted her as she attempted to pass him, then fled the scene on foot,” police said in a statement.
“The woman was not physically injured during the incident.
“Investigators have released a digital composite image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries. He is described as being of slim build with brown eyes with dark curly hair and was carrying a red basketball.”
Video released by police shows the man believe may be able to assist them, dancing on the footpath and bouncing a basketball. He is dressed in hi-vis clothing.
