A right-wing Australian senator has called for the deportation of millions of immigrants in response to the results of the US midterm elections, where non-Whites overwhelmingly voted for the left.
United Australia Party senator Ralph Babet made the comments in a reply to a post by political commentator Rita Panahi, who shared a video of an earlier voting line in Michigan that was made up almost entirely of Muslims, and in his own post where he said Australia was no different.
The Democrats seized control of Congress during Tuesday’s election, winning a majority of all non-White racial groups and non-Christian religious groups, and leftist Abdul El-Sayed became the first Muslim elected to the Senate.
@RitaPanahi Australia is no different. Millions must go. Mass deportations are needed.

Demographics is destiny. Millions must be deported. The same in Australia. Mass deportations of those who despise western civilisation. I don’t care if you’re born here, if you hate the west, if you hate western culture, you need to leave. Now.

The video of the voting line in Dearborn, west of Detroit, which is majority Middle Eastern and North African, and about 50% Muslim, was originally posted by an X account called End Wokeness, with the caption: “Like it or not, demographics are destiny”.
Panahi shared the video with the caption “Demography is destiny. Michigan”, and Mr Babet replied: “Australia is no different. Millions must go. Mass deportations are needed.”
In a separate post responding to Texas exit poll results, he wrote: “Demographics is destiny. Millions must be deported. The same in Australia. Mass deportations of those who despise western civilisation. I don’t care if you’re born here, if you hate the west, if you hate western culture, you need to leave. Now.”

According to NBC exit polls, a slim majority of Whites (51%) voted Republican, while 89% of blacks voted Democrat, along with 62% of Latinos, 70% of Asians, and 53% of other races. Broken down by gender, only a majority of White males voted Republican.
Republicans won 51% of those aged 65 and over, 54% of high school graduates, 58% of White women with no college degree, 64% of White men with no college degree, 57% of veterans, and 12% of homosexuals.
They also won 60% of protestant voters, 50% of Catholics, 69% of Mormons, and 60% of other Christians, while Democrats won 77% of voters with no religion, 64% of other religions, 85% of Muslims, and 67% of Jews.
Asked whether the US made the right or wrong decision in taking military action against Iran, 37% of voters said it was the right decision, while 63% said it was wrong. Of those who thought it was the right decision, 91% voted Republican, while just 16% of those who thought it was the wrong choice did the same.
Of those who voted for Trump in the 2024 presidential election, 92% voted Republican on Tuesday, falling to 80% for 18-29s, and 85% for Hispanic voters.
