A manhunt is underway for an aboriginal suspect after a woman was attacked as she walked down a street in Adelaide.
South Australia Police said the woman was walking north on Haydown Road in Elizabeth Grove in the city’s north at about 7.10pm on Friday night when she turned around and saw an unknown man running towards her.
The man grabbed her by the arm, but she managed to break free and run off along Sampson Road.
She then sought help from bystanders before running home and reporting the assault to police. Police said she was not physically injured.
Investigators released a computer-generated image of the suspect, and are appealing for public assistance identifying him.
“The suspect is described as a man of Aboriginal appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately 170 cm tall, with a slim build,” police said.
“He has a moustache with stubble and dark hair. He was wearing a grey jacket with the hood up and black tracksuit pants.”
