A large and vocal crowd of flag-waving Australian patriots has marched though the heart of Sydney calling for remigration and an end to foreign lobbying.
More than 1,000 demonstrators gathered near the Royal Botanic Garden at 11am on Sunday despite heavy rain, before proceeding up Macquarie Street to Hyde Park behind a banner reading “save the nation, stop immigration”.
The protesters, many wearing orange One Nation T-shirts, also held signs saying “fire the liar” featuring Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s face, and chanted “shut the gate, remigration”, “Albo’s got to go”, and “Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi oi oi”.
The demonstrators then paused outside NSW Parliament, where organiser and Australian Lobby Group co-founder Scott Challen led chants of “ban foreign lobbying”.

The crowd then gathered for speeches by Mr Challen, Sam Bamford from the popular 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, bodybuilding legend Lee Priest, Libertarians MP John Ruddick, One Nation candidate Stuart Bonds, lobbyist Lachlan Lade, and businessman Henry Gilder.
The speeches were held on a truck that has been travelling around the country since early September as part of a series of anti-mass immigration rallies held by Australia Marches during its National Tour, which concludes in Canberra next week.
Priest, who is hoping to run for One Nation in next year’s NSW state election, said he was delighted to see so many Australian flags, and recounted being on a flight from Doha with a group of returning ISIS brides earlier this year.
“Let me tell you, it was the most sickening flight of my life,” he said.
“Knowing that these people left with their husbands to go overseas, to fight against our Australian soldiers, and the Americans, and then they get to come back here to this great country and all the freedoms it has, and that same government right now is trying to put Ben Roberts-Smith in jail.
“Albo, you’re a wanker, you’re a traitor, and you shouldn’t be head of this country.”

Mr Bamford echoed a speech he made at a rally in Melbourne last week, calling on attendees to get active at a local level and fight against far-left extremism in councils and schools, and thanking the crowd for braving the bad weather.
“The reason we are here today is because we’ve been forgotten about, and our voices have gone unheard by these cowardly politicians,” he said.
“They’ve been bought out, they have been potentially caught doing some things that they shouldn’t have been caught doing, because I do not understand how they are putting foreigners ahead of Australians, and in every way, shape or form, that is a treasonous, traitorous act.”
Mr Lade called for mass deportations, while Mr Ruddick brought up civil unrest in France and warned immigration needed to be stopped so similar scenes don’t play out in Australia.
Mr Gilder, a 24-year-old uni student who runs his own business, spoke out against the notion that “immigration built Australia” in his speech, asking how many Indians helped build the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
“How many Sudanese were instrumental in the design and construction of the Sydney Opera House? How many of our soldiers who fought in the First and Second World Wars were from the Middle East,” he asked, while the crowd yelled “zero” and “none”.

In his speech Mr Challen said he wanted to send a message that foreign lobbying has to end, and said the Australian Lobby Group wants to repeal “hate speech” laws and enshrine free speech in the Constitution.
“We will never give up our fight for our country and for your ability to say it how it should be said,” he told the crowd.
He also promised to hold One Nation accountable, and warned that if it did not deliver on its promises to cut immigration it would end up like the Republican Party in the US midterm elections.
“I know that everyone’s going to vote for team orange in the next election, I get that, and I commend team orange for being able to fill that political void that was there when every other politician was scared to do it, except for John Ruddick from the Libertarians,” he said.
“But I will say this to team orange, you better deliver on what you’re saying or we will hold your feet to the fire, and we will crucify you, and if you think it can’t be done, just have a look at what happened to the Republicans in the US.”
