Aussies have mocked a new pro-mass immigration advertisement from a hospitality industry lobby group, which claims that the sector will collapse without low-skilled migrant labour.
The AI-generated ad, which was posted on social media accounts linked to Australian Hotels Association (AHA) on Tuesday, shows a man pressing a button to “run Australia without migrant workers”.
The ad then shows Australians been forced to make their own coffees, pour their own beers, cook their own pub meals, do their own pedicures, clean their own hotel rooms, and wipe the bottoms of their elderly parents in aged care facilities.
But the ad drew attention for its unrealistic depiction of immigrant workers as European and for being economically inaccurate.
It’s funny how they made almost every immigrant in this video a white person lol
Mentally insane propaganda

So we only have white immigrants now? This is literally an admission of guilt, where’s all the brown uber eats drivers and the black machete swinging criminals?

I love how they don’t show the stabby stabby ones, the allahu Akbar ones or any of the driving Ubers and dumping rubbish ones
And it’s the federal government who are reducing the backpacker ones who look like those in the ad
It’s all psyop and propaganda at this point

The Hotels Association pro migration ad – despite being AI slopaganda – is based.

The reality of this ad is that net-negative immigration means wages will rise, rents will plummet, the strain on services will soften.
No idea why anybody on the left is arguing against this.

“It’s funny how they made almost every immigrant in this video a White person, lol. Mentally insane propaganda,” wrote independent journalist Drew Pavlou.
“So we only have White immigrants now? This is literally an admission of guilt, where’s all the brown uber eats drivers and the black machete swinging criminals?” asked Sam Bamford, host of the popular 2 Worlds Collide Podcast.
“The reality of this ad is that net-negative immigration means wages will rise, rents will plummet, the strain on services will soften. No idea why anybody on the left is arguing against this,” wrote News24 columnist Jordan Knight.
“I love how they don’t show the stabby stabby ones, the allahu Akbar ones or any of the driving Ubers and dumping rubbish ones And it’s the federal government who are reducing the backpacker ones who look like those in the ad, It’s all psyop and propaganda at this point,” wrote another X user.
Politico editor Paul Karp also weighed in on the ad, saying it was “based” despite being “AI slopaganda”. It is unclear whether this means he agreed with the AHA’s message.
Even some immigrants objected to the ad, with one complaining that it suggested that immigrants were doing low-skilled jobs.
“What an offensive ad to immigrants! Where are the doctors and engineers? Where are all the skilled immigrants in this? Too rude to a big group of people that are contributing a lot to Australia,” they wrote.
The ad comes after the Labor government announced a crackdown on European backpackers as part of migration policy changes, which also sparked anger from everyday Aussies, who demanded cuts to third-world immigration instead.
