New push to deport immigrants who deny White Australian culture: ‘Strip citizenship’

Aussie patriots are calling for new laws allowing the government to denaturalise and deport immigrant citizens who spread antiwhite hatred or deny that White Australians possess a culture.

Right-wing campaign group Revive Australia this week proposed an Australian Allegiance Act that would give legal force to the existing citizenship pledge, and allow the government to prosecute those who lie on the pledge or engage in disloyal or treasonous conduct, and strip them of their citizenship.

The proposal was made after Sudanese refugee lawyer Nyadol Nyuon sparked nationwide outrage by declaring on ABC television on Monday that “there is no White culture” and saying she had “no intention of assimilating”, even though she has been granted Australian citizenship.

The Bill would target conduct that “repudiates the allegiance undertaken in the pledge”, including publicly refusing to assimilate, publicly rejecting loyalty to Australia or the Australian people, and spreading hatred of, or contempt for, White Australians because of their race or European ancestry.

Denying that White Australians possess a culture, history or inheritance worthy of recognition, a legitimate connection to Australia, or an interest in preserving their cultural and demographic continuity would also be an offence. So would working for foreign states, foreign political organisations or foreign causes against Australian interests, and engaging in subversive conduct.

Revive Australia founder Brian Marlow said that successive uniparty governments had failed Australians by refusing to enforce the citizenship pledge.

“If you migrate here and seek Australian citizenship, you must understand what you are accepting. Citizenship carries obligations as well as rights,” Mr Marlow said.

“You have voluntarily asked to join our national community. You have pledged your loyalty to Australia and the Australian people. You do not get to collect the passport, enjoy everything this country offers and then treat your pledge as worthless.

“If you lied to gain Australian citizenship, if you become an Australian citizen and spread hateful anti-Australian or antiwhite rhetoric, or if you become an Australian citizen and openly refuse to assimilate into Australian society, you will be charged and prosecuted.

“Upon conviction, you will lose your citizenship and you will be deported.”

Mr Marlow said Ms Nyuon’s comments expressed contempt for her adopted country, and demonstrated the failure of the current citizenship system.

“White Australians have a culture, Australia has a history and Australians have every right to defend their inheritance and expect those who voluntarily join their national community to respect it,” he said.

“For too long, migrants who became citizens have been allowed to spread anti-Australian and antiwhite hatred, reject assimilation, advance foreign interests and undermine the nation that welcomed them. They accepted Australian citizenship, enjoyed everything this country gave them and then used their position here to attack the Australian people.”

“Australia has been too kind and too forgiving for too long, and that generosity has been exploited to our own detriment. The Australian Allegiance Act draws a firm line. Honour your pledge, respect Australia and join our national community. Repudiate your allegiance and you will lose your citizenship, be deported and never return.”

The legislation would contain built-in protections that could not be expanded by governments or courts that invented new definitions of “Australian values”, and the bill would allow criticism of governments, courts, institutions, political parties, public officials or government policies.

It would also protect lawful campaigning against laws or institutions, opposition to multiculturalism or mass migration, support for nationalism, patriotism or assimilation, and “the defence of White Australians, their equal dignity, their interests, their British and European inheritance, and their cultural or demographic continuity”, the campaign group said.
