An Aussie driver has been left stunned after encountering a group of Indians who had parked in the middle of a narrow country road so they could take selfies.
The motorist shared a photo showing the group’s Ford Ranger blocking Yarrabin Road, west of Mudgee in NSW, while three people stood outside the vehicle.
“I thought I left this in Sydney… just parked in the middle of the road and walked around like geese,” the driver wrote in a local Facebook group. In response to a comment asking what they were doing, he replied: “Taking selfies mate.”
The post sparked a lively discussion about mass immigration, with several locals saying they had seen similar behaviour from foreign visitors.
“I found this behaviour on the bridge on Rocky waterhole, car parked people out taking photos on a contra flow bridge! I let them know how stupid they were,” said one man.
“They do the same in Bathurst, just stand in the middle of the road talking to another goose 10m away, I pulled up and blasted him,” said another.
“Seeking refuge from the absolute contaminated chaos in Sydney! I thought the country would provide a peaceful retreat away from the filth. Unfortunately, that’s not the reality. Does anyone know of any untouched areas where true Aussies still exist as one, resilient community?” asked a frustrated woman.
Other popular comments included “They’re everywhere like aliens, lol”, “usual suspects”, and “it’s not always them but it’s always them”.
