NSW Liberal leader Kellie Sloane has sparked backlash by marching in Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras alongside far-left extremists who want to mutilate gender-confused children.
The Member for Vaucluse in Sydney’s wealthy eastern suburbs, who took over as Opposition leader in November, shared photos of her herself posing with homosexual Liberal MPs Chris Rath and Jacqui Munro and Jewish gay community group Dayenu.
NSW Police, which has changed its social media profile pictures to include the homosexual flag, had a float in the parade, as did the ABC, SBS, Scouts NSW, NSW Health, the Department of Defence, and the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, which had a float saying “become a foster carer”.

Numerous children were seen marching in the sexually explicit event, which also included half-naked prostitutes holding signs saying “blow jobs are real jobs” and “queer whore power”, and controversial activist group Parents for Trans Youth Equity (PTYE) which pushes the unscientific concept of child “transgenderism”.
The PTYE float included children marching behind a banner saying “loud love for trans kids” and another saying “support Project 491”, a far-left activist campaign attempting to force the Queensland government to reverse its ban on damaging and dangerous “gender-affirming care” for minors.
“Happy Mardi Gras! Congrats to all who marched in the name of diversity and inclusion – and to the huge crowds that turned out and cheered everyone on,” Ms Sloane wrote on social media.
Her appearance was criticised by many of her followers with many saying pandering to the left was the reason the Liberals were “unelectable”.
“Did you join the far left?” asked one.
“A true Labor-lite moderate,” remarked another.
“Here is proof that the Libs are Labor lite. Sold the bush out and panders to the woke left. How about a few wind turbines at Dover Heights Kellie?” said a third similar comment.
Another wrote: “When you try to be everyone’s friend, usually that leads to being nobody’s friend.”
Family First party national director Lyle Shelton also took aim at Ms Sloane for “marching with activists who support puberty blockers and gender ideology in schools”.
“This isn’t harmless fun. It’s political. And it affects YOUR kids. While other countries are banning child gender experiments, Australia keeps pushing ahead. Parents didn’t vote for this,” he said.
