It’s been good to see a few Australian news outlets take a stronger position on far-left extremist gender ideology in recent weeks, although it shows how far the media has fallen when we find ourselves congratulating them for refusing to call a gender-deluded father who raped his five-year-old daughter a woman.
On Wednesday Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan was asked about public schools allowing children to be treated as a member of the opposite sex without their parents’ knowledge or consent.
Her response was one she’s given before when criticised about schools teaching kids as young as five about “transgenderism”:
“It’s particularly important we come to these discussions in a responsible way, because we know that transgender kids are 15 times more likely to commit suicide”

Ms Allan was responding to a journalist from The Australian, Rachel Baxendale, who has been doing great work on the issue and followed up the conversation with an article fact-checking Ms Allan’s claim, pointing out that it comes from far-left extremist advocacy group LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, who do not cite a source.
Baxendale then quotes The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare as saying “there are … no reliable national data on rates of suicide and self-harm among LGBTIQ+ communities in Australia”.
She also refers to data from Britain’s Tavistock Clinic and the UK Cass review that contradicts the Premier’s claim, and quotes a spokeswoman from Victorian group Parents of Adolescents with Gender Distress as saying:
“Data shows that suicide rates for transgender youth, while elevated, remain extremely low and as many also suffer from co-occurring conditions (such as autism spectrum disorder and mental health conditions) which have similar levels of risk, a direct correlation cannot be made.
Neither affirmation nor medicalisation impacts this suicide risk or suicidal ideation and there is no evidence social transitioning, particularly without parents’ knowledge, is beneficial to the mental health of children or adolescents.”
This is all good stuff, but she’s ultimately fighting a losing battle.
Why?
Because the minute you accept the premise that kids can be “transgender”, you’ve lost the argument.
“Transgender kids” don’t exist. “Transgender” adults don’t exist either – living out a delusion doesn’t turn it into reality.
The simple fact, that all of us know deep inside, is that men can’t become women, and vice versa.
The existence of rare genetic mutations doesn’t change this, nor do pointless debates about the definitions of sex and gender.
Far-left extremists are divorced from reality and have no respect for the truth. They don’t care about facts and logic, unless they can use them against you, and fact-checking them does nothing.
The minute we enter into a debate about suicide rates among “transgender kids”, we concede the linguistic ground to the enemy, and even if we win the side argument, they win the main one.
Note the statement from the parents’ group uses radical leftist language like “transgender kids”, “social transitioning”, despite their opposition to the evils of “transgenderism”, which results in kids being mutilated, sterilised and suffering irreversible harms from hormones and puberty blockers.
One cannot “transition”, so we should not use the word without making this clear. Of course, the child mutilators have had their way for so long now that it is difficult and sometimes seemingly impossible to discuss these issues without using their terminology.
But that makes it even more important that we refuse to use their words.
And this is where outlets like The Australian continue to fail. They insist on using far-left extremist terms like “transwomen”, “gender affirming care”, and even “gender identity”, giving them legitimacy and power.
Meanwhile, the other side is ruthless in their refusal to use our language, and this is part of the reason why they keep winning.
Australia’s far-left Sex Discrimination Commissioner Dr Anna Cody, who earns a taxpayer-funded salary of $408,000 a year, claims she “doesn’t understand the term ‘biological men'”. pic.twitter.com/1vLzajRP3Q

The far-left Sex Discrimination Commissioner did this in the Senate last week when she said with a straight face that she did not understand the term “biological men”.
Conservatives had a good laugh at this, and patted each other on the back for recognising that “wokeness has gone too far”, but learned nothing.
Of course Dr Anna Cody understands the term “biological men”, what she was really saying is that she refuses to use it, because doing so concedes linguistic ground to her ideological enemies. She gets it, conservatives don’t.
What the far-left has done, with the help of a moronic and complicit media, an apathetic and weak populace, and spineless conservative noble losers, is hijack the English language, and unless we take it back this madness will continue.
Don’t use their language, don’t let them frame the debate, don’t let a single one of their lies slide.
