The entire Australian mainstream media is in bed with Antifa

MEDIA SHAME FILE

Outlets: Every single corporate media outlet, plus the national broadcasters the ABC and SBS

Headlines: Too many to list

Summary: Trump says he’s going to designate Antifa as a terrorist organisation, which we’ve heard before and may or may not happen. But regardless the announcement should be a wake-up call for state and corporate media in Australia, who have been in bed with them for far too long.

Think that’s an exaggeration? Here are just a few examples:

  • The taxpayer-funded ABC treating far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker as a credible source on the assassination of Charlie Kirk and giving him an eight-minute segment on 7.30 despite his long history of antiwhite slurs and calls for violence against right-wingers and conservatives. He used the interview to claim that leftists are the real victims of Kirk’s death and complain about Kirk’s moderate centre-right opinions.
  • The constant use of anti-fascist doxxing ring White Rose Society as a source. This month alone they’ve been cited by News.com.au, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, the Guardian, Al Jazeera, and the Daily Mail, and there are many more cases. This is a group that only exists to try to ruin people’s lives for their political opinions, they constantly lie and get facts wrong, and are motivated by hatred towards right-wingers, but since they are on the far-left they get their anonymously made claims published as fact. Any outlet that publishes their propaganda as fact is doing their dirty work for them.
  • Nine’s Nick McKenzie, who earns over $500,000 a year to pursue what appears to be a personal vendetta against Nazis (yes, he’s Jewish), not only using White Rose as a source but also working with Antifa and law enforcement to infiltrate the NSN and spark a violent incident that was then suppressed by the courts because it would “damage the public’s perception of the state”. He followed up with an article this month doxxing NSN members for White Rose. He does this knowing full well that the people he names will lose their jobs and become the targets of left-wing violence, but does it anyway, presumably because he doesn’t like their political opinions.
  • The constant unbalanced use of self-proclaimed “far-right experts” in stories about the right. You never see a “far-left expert” quoted, of course, and what “far-right expert” (think Kaz Ross, Josh Roose, Kurt Sengul, Jordan McSwiney) really means is “someone who hates the far-right so much they decided to make it their full-time academic job”. These are not neutral experts, they write voluminous amounts about how to stop and counter the “far-right”, they make submissions to senate inquiries to try to influence government policy to stop the “far-right”, and a look at any of their quotes reveals how biased they are. They also make factual errors all the time, and Ross makes it clear on X that she’s extremely personally invested in her anti-fascist activism with her regular unhinged comments about right-wing figures, but she still gets quoted and treated like a neutral academic by the mainstream media anyway.
  • The ABC showing the houses of right-wing activists on TV, despite knowing that will make them a target of antifa fire-bombings.
  • Crikey associate editor Cam Wilson and his Guardian Australian collaborator Ariel Bogle appearing on an Antifa podcast Yeah Nah Pasaran. This is the equivalent of appearing on the Joel and Blair Show, if Joel Davis and Blair Cottrell were traitors who were actively working to destroy Australia and had a spot on a taxpayer-funded community radio station that played violent songs about killing right-wingers and got away with it.
  • The ABC citing Andy Fleming of Yeah Nah Pasaran as a “fascism researcher” in news articles without disclosing that he’s actually a left-wing extremist antifa blogger.

You may object “but Hasan Piker isn’t a member of Antifa”, or “X expert hasn’t worked with Antifa”, to which we say – we didn’t make the rules.

It was you who decided that anyone who marches with a Nazi is a Nazi. It was the ABC who did a hit piece on us, and tried to dox us and demonetise us using our own tax dollars, because we don’t have the same far-left bias as the rest of the mainstream media. The Age attacked us for the same reason in a story that was riddled with factual errors.

These people are all connected, and remember, these stories don’t get published in a vacuum. They get signed off by editors on multiple levels, which makes them all responsible.

When News.com.au or the ABC (the two most-read websites in Australia) publish Antifa propaganda, their editors are ultimately responsible, which means their whole organisations are effectively working for and alongside far-left extremists.

Sadly, there will be no Trumpian crackdown on the far-left in Australia, they are too embedded in media, academia, law enforcement, and government itself. No one is coming to save us, and the legacy media is beyond redemption, the rot is too deep.

We have to save ourselves, and build our own unbiased alternatives, which is why The Noticer exists. We encourage you to do what you can to do the same, in your area of expertise.

Key quote: “While Mr Piker says Mr Kirk’s death was a horrifying event, he believes it has further emboldened Trump and others on America’s political right to push agendas that silence political dissidents”
