A Somalian Muslim is under police investigation for a video where he talked about bringing a Sudanese armed with an automatic handgun to Melbourne’s March for Australia anti-immigration rally on August 31.
The Twitch streamer, who goes by Deeds23, has since deleted the original TikTok video from August 18 and another posted earlier this week where he responded to questions about whether he was calling for violence.
In the first video he said: “Everybody talking about the 31st of August, cuz, let’s run it. Niggas ain’t scared, wallah, what do you think this is, bro? You guys didn’t see what happened in the UK, when the EDL [English Defence League] niggas tried to run through and they got popped?
“Wallahi, let’s fucking run it. Let’s go, just tell me where we meeting. Nasty niggas, where we meeting? Just tell me what block. Flinders, Swanston, Collins, just let me know so I can plan”.
Then while making a machine gun gesture he said: “I’ve got a Sudo [Sudanese] with a switch ready to just … y’nah mean?”

In his second now-deleted video Deeds23 said he was not intending to incite violence, and claimed his video was made in response to other clips where March for Australia protesters allegedly threatened violence, but Victoria Police are now looking into his comments.
“I can confirm that that police are aware of the video and it is currently under investigation,” a Victoria Police spokesperson told News.com.au, after the video went viral and many Australians called on police to investigate.
Deeds23 also claimed that the “Sudo with a switch” line – a switch being an illegally modified automatic handgun – was a reference to a joke he had made in a previous video saying it was good that guns were banned in Australia because otherwise Sudanese gangs would have them.
“In regards to me saying ‘I got a Sudo with a switch that’s ready to just…’ basically, people that follow me or watch my shit know I had a video that ‘did well’ of me basically saying ‘thank God guns aren’t legal in Australia because imagine a Sudo with a switch’ – that line was just a funny reference back to that video,” he said.
“I don’t care if you want to have a peaceful protest, I’m not inciting violence, I’m not calling for anyone to do anything to anyone that’s having a peaceful protest, at all. All I’m saying is everyone has a right to defend themselves.”
Other videos have since emerged of Africans saying they want to throw water bombs at rally attendees, and spray them with urine.
March for Australia organisers have now set locations for rallies in all major cities, and have published flyers urging Aussies to “make your voice heard” at 12pm on Sunday.
The locations are Belmore Park in Sydney, Flinders Street Station in Melbourne, Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane, Rundle Park in Adelaide, Supreme Court Gardens in Perth, Regatta Point in Canberra, Freedom Park in Cairns, Anzac Memorial Park in Townsville, and Salamanca Lawns in Hobart.
