Police are looking for a knifeman who allegedly stabbed two strangers in the city of Shepparton in regional Victoria.
Police said two men got into a verbal argument with another unknown man outside a home on St Georges Road at about 8.40pm on August 1.
The pair then left and walked to a nearby bottle ship where a “physical altercation” broke out, and the third man allegedly produced a knife and stabbed them both before fleeing on foot, police said.
Both of the wounded men, an 18-year-old from Shepparton and a 23-year-old from Kialla, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and are expected to be interviewed by police in relation to the alleged fight.

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives have now released an image of a man they believe might be able to assist with enquiries.
“The man is perceived to be aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance,” Victoria Police said.
“He was seen wearing a black puffer jacket and black tracksuit pants.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.”
