As the counting for the Australian federal election finally comes to a close, who will be in the next parliament becomes a little clearer.
Unfortunately, it looks like Queensland Senator Gerard Rennick, one of the few worth voting for, will not be re-elected to the Queensland Senate and One Nation’s Malcolm Roberts will get the last seat.
While this is unfortunate and disappointing, there is still plenty to be positive about.
The best outcome of the election is that the left-wing Liberal Party are now officially declared braindead and are just waiting for their skilled migrant palliative care worker to come along and apply the pillow. It looks as though the Nationals were just pulling the usual bullshit theatre in regards to the split, but time will tell.
There has already been an excellent series of analyses written about the electoral implosion of the Liberals by various authors on The Noticer, and I defer to them for ground which I don’t need to re-cover.
The pièce de résistance of both installing a woman, Sussan Ley, as leader and potentially Tim Wilson as deputy leader, a homosexual from the predominantly Jewish electorate of Goldstein, is completely on-brand for the centre-right in 2025.
Their demise has been helped by their equally braindead commentariat on the containment right networks of Sky News, The Spectator and such. They’ve spent the last few weeks complaining that they lost because they weren’t pro-Israel enough, even to the point of Jewish anchor Sharri Markson advocating for Josh Frydenberg to return as leader. Intellectual titan Clare Lehmann is also calling for the Liberal Party to have more female representation, because that’s worked out well for everyone who has ever attempted it – Jacinta Allan’s approval rating in the failed state of Victoria be damned.
The other highlight for me was the abysmal performance of the Libertarian Party, despite all their (self-aggrandising) hype. I certainly did my best to derail them and any party that uses the word “auction” in their immigration policy deserves to be obliterated.
Despite’s Rennick’s unlikely re-election, he has repeatedly stated that he is committed to building the People First Party for a tilt at the 2028 federal election and several state elections in the interim:
I plan on building up People First as the party of choice for the minor parties.
No other party have the policies, the know how or the grassroots membership to do this. People First plans to set up branches, something One Nation hasn’t done in 30 years.

However, he’s also been at his best causing havoc on X, drawing the feckless Australian containment right out into no-man’s land to be picked off at will. He’s also managed to upset a few of the Bitcoin zealots over his views on the monetary system.
Furthermore, he’s drawn out the Zionists hiding behind nationalist masks for daring to questioning their influence over Australian politics. He did the same in the midst of the caravan incident in NSW.
One Nation is controlled opposition. Never had a branch, Pauline never goes to estimates, rarely attends the chamber – they have done more damage than good to the cause

No lies detected.
The reaction to this from the containment right just proved his point.
We’ve chronicled One Nation’s antics the last 12 months in the lead-up to the last federal and various state elections – Parmindergate being the pinnacle. Several more One Nation MPs have also quit since then, with an estimated 26 quitting the party over the years.
One Nation’s lone MLC in South Australia, Sarah Game, recently resigned as a member and will sit as an independent. Game, who is Jewish, was also previously responsible for banning “Nazi” symbols in SA and openly advocated for refugees and diversity. So much for One Nation’s “nationalist” brand and support of free speech.
Rennick’s tweet is on point for the observation that One Nation is a containment operation for the Coalition, and that its job is to redirect preferences back to the Liberals. This is exactly what Pauline did during the election.
In response to the People First threat, One Nation have now announced that they are going to start forming state and territory branches. This is purely performative, has nothing to do with giving members a say (their party constitution basically prevents it anyway) and has everything to do with trying to stop People First’s ascendancy.
Pauline won’t last the three years until her pending re-election. She will likely retire before then, handing the party to the notorious James Ashby, in whose hands, if by some miracle it is still alive, it will certainly die.
One Nation’s sell-out over the hate speech legislation and pathetic attempt to explain away said sell-out was the final straw for many, if it wasn’t Pauline flaunting an Israeli scarf on the floor of the Senate before that.
Australia First, right after Israel, right Pauline?
The political vacuum that has formed for nationalists, that Joel Davis pointed out a couple of weeks back, is there for the taking and now is the time.
With the Liberal Party finished for good, the focus now is to put the finishing move on One Nation as they are the last political roadblock to genuine Australian nationalism.
Rennick has the best blueprint currently on offer in Canberra to do exactly that.
