A teenage boy is recovering from multiple slash wounds suffered when he was set upon by a machete-wielding African gang at a house party in Perth.
Horrific footage of the incident shows several hooded thugs of African appearance armed with long blades attacking Lucas Jeisman, 17, outside a home in Mindarie on Good Friday.
The gang first targeted another teenager inside the party, and when Lucas stepped in to defend his friend he was chased outside and knocked to the ground where he was kicked, stomped and slashed with machetes, 7News reported.
Lucas was hospitalised for two days at Joondalup Health Campus, needed stitches for deep cuts to both legs, and suffered facial bruising and scratches.

Police are yet to make any arrests, but said they were investigating the incident.
Lucas’s mum Lisa said police had been given the names of the alleged offenders, and warned other families the gang was still on the loose.
“We know who they are, we’ve told police, we’ve given names, we’ve given statements, there’s video footage,” she said.
“They’re out there tonight running around with machetes. If your kids are going to a party tonight in Mindarie, Butler, Clarkson, beware, because it might be you that gets the next call [from the police].”
Ms Jeisman said she was devastated by the attack and that multiple videos circulating on social media were too confronting to watch.
“[It’s] a parent’s worst nightmare. I can’t watch the videos. I haven’t watched them, but I’ve heard from other people, people have told me, like, he’s lucky to be alive,” she said.
“My heart breaks for my son, absolutely breaks for my son that he had to go through that and there was no one there to help him.”
