A lesbian mother has been shot shot dead after trying to run over an immigration agent who was hunting down illegal aliens in Minneapolis, Minnesota, amid a crackdown on Somali immigrant-dominated fraud.
Footage of the shooting, which took place on Wednesday morning local time, shows Good driving her maroon SUV towards an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent, who then fires multiple shots at the vehicle, which then smashes into parked cars. Protests then erupted
The woman has been identified as Renee Good, 37, and a video captured at the scene shows a crying woman saying “that’s my wife, I don’t know what to do”, and ” I have a six-year-old at school… we’re new here, we don’t have anyone”.

Ms Good, a self-described poet who used far-left “gender pronouns” and lived nearby, was a mother-of three, and the six-year-old’s father died in 2023, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported. Her mother Donna Ganger denied she was involved in protests against ICE.
The Department of Homeland Security described the incident as an “act of domestic terrorism” in a statement, but Democrat Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has disputed the account and said ICE should “get the f- out” of the city.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the officer acted in self-defence and said the ICE operations were still underway despite the shooting.
“Our ICE officers were out in an enforcement action. They got stuck in the snow because of the adverse weather that is in Minneapolis,” Ms Noem said.
“They were attempting to push out their vehicle and a woman attacked them, and those surrounding them, and attempted to run them over and ram them with her vehicle.
“An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively shot to protect himself and the people around him and my understanding is that she was hit and is deceased.”

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement:
“Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponised her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them – an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries. This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available.”
Mayor Frey responded by accusing ICE of “causing chaos and terrorising neighbours” and rejected the federal account of the shooting.
“I have a message for ICE, to ICE: Get the f— out of Minneapolis. What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust. They’re ripping families apart. They’re sowing chaos on our streets, and in this case, quite literally killing people, so they are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defence,” he said.
“Having seen the video of myself, I want to tell everybody directly that is bullshit. This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed.”
The shooting comes amid a huge ICE and Homeland Security operation in the Minneapolis area targeting large-scale Somali immigrant-dominated social services fraud following outrage over reporting from independent journalist Nick Shirley.
The White House said earlier this month the Trump administration was “unleashing a relentless assault to dismantle the massive fraud empires built in Minnesota”.
“This Administration is spearheading a no-holds-barred effort to hunt down and prosecute the criminals who have exploited Democrats’ non-existent oversight to bilk hardworking taxpayers out of billions of dollars,” a spokesperson said.
