A pedestrian has been severely injured after being crushed by a woman who threw herself off a building in Melbourne’s CBD and landed on top of him.
The man in his 30s was rushed to The Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition after being found om William Street with upper body injuries just before midday on Monday.
The woman died at the scene, and police said her death was “not being treated as suspicious”.
The woman is understood to have jumped from the 19th floor of the building located just above Flagstaff Gardens, and landed on the man who was smoking a cigarette in an alleyway, 7News reported.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
