Billionaire owner of online prostitution hub OnlyFans dead at 43

The billionaire owner of online prostitution hub OnlyFans has died of cancer at age 43.

Leonid Radvinsky’s death was announced by the controversial company on Monday, and a company spokesperson said it was “deeply saddened” by the news.

“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time,” the spokesperson said.

The Ukrainian-born Jewish entrepreneur peddled pornography on the internet from age 17, and in 2018 bought OnlyFans’ UK-based parent company, Fenix International Limited, becoming its majority shareholder and director and paying himself dividends of at least $1 billion in each of the three years to 2025.

Radvinsky donated at least $11 million to pro-Israel lobby group the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), lived in the Florid, and obtained American citizenship after his family moved to Chicago when he was a child.

OnlyFans has been the subject of repeated complaints about child abuse and non-consensual material, and a study last year found that girls as young as 12 were aware of the site and viewed selling their bodies online as an “appealing career path”.

Few mourned Radvinsky’s death on social media after the announcement, with many instead saying they hoped the site would die along with its owner, and labelling him an “evil pimp” who exploited and corrupted millions of women worldwide.

“Ironic that a man who spread online cancer, dies of it in real life,” read one popular X comment.

OnlyFans is one of the greatest evils in modern times. Leonid Radvinsky’s legacy is the mass exploitation of young women, many of which suffered horrible trauma as kids and some are forced to do it. Others are evil women who exploit desperate, pitiful men. It’s societal poison,” read another post.

“Only 43 years yet he still managed to do irreparable damage to society,” said a third social media user.

“What will profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul?” asked another.
