A violent black criminal with multiple prior convictions has been found incompetent to stand trial for the savage murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a train in Charlotte, sparking fury in the United States.
Decarlos Brown Jr, a 35-year-old homeless schizophrenic, was out on bail despite 14 prior arrests and multiple convictions for serious crimes when he fatally stabbed Zarutska, 23, in a horrific unprovoked attack on August 22 last year, and was heard on CCTV repeatedly saying “I got that White girl” after the killing.
Brown is facing federal and state charges over the killing, but according to a court motion filed on Tuesday was found “incapable to proceed” by a psychiatric facility following an evaluation on December 29, meaning his case is likely to be delayed until a court deems his capacity is “restored”.
Zarutska’s killing, along with sickening CCTV footage showing a light rail carriage full of black passengers doing nothing as Brown stabbed her to death, caused widespread public anger about black crime in the United States, which was reignited by this week’s court ruling.
Many American commentators objected to the concept of incompetence to stand trial, and said mentally ill violent criminals should be given the death penalty.
The whole idea of “incompetent to stand trial” is fucking nonsense. If you’re too “incompetent” to understand that you shouldn’t butcher an innocent woman on the train, you should die. Period. Arrest, convict, execute. You are not fit to be a part of human society. How many more… https://t.co/W1iuuJApEf

“How many more innocent people must we sacrifice for the sake of coddling and babying the absolute scum of the Earth? Our ancestors had it right. They would have had this guy hanging from the gallows an hour after conviction. The old system of justice was light years better than this insane bullshit we’re dealing with now.”
“If you’re competent enough to target a woman and murder her, you’re competent enough to stand trial, be found guilty, and receive the death penalty,” said another conservative commentator.
“You aren’t legally permitted to question the competence of black people when hiring or renting or admitting to school, only when they murder a White person,” wrote popular X account Dissident Soaps.
The only systemic racism that actually exists in America today is the one targeting White people. pic.twitter.com/jSje4PHM9q

“Wonder if a judge would determine this for a White man that said ‘I got that black girl’ after a murder,” another popular X comment read.
Trump advisor Stephen Miller wrote: “The purpose of a system is what is does.”
The president of El Salvador also weighed in on the case, writing: “Jail the corrupt judges.”
Brown, who is in federal custody in Chicago, has also been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation for his federal charge of violence against a railroad carrier and mass transportation system resulting in death, but it is yet to be completed and the evaluation period has been extended, WBTV reported.
President Trump has previously called for Brown to face the death penalty, but executions in North Carolina have been blocked by a de facto moratorium for the past 20 years.
Following the incompetence ruling some Americans also took aim at Trump, saying he was not doing enough to ensure justice for Zarutska, or for Charlie Kirk.
“Donald Trump did nothing about this. Donald Trump did nothing about Charlie. Donald Trump is nothing,” wrote Kayuga’s Top Gal.
