An Indian man has been charged over a string of alleged sex offences in Sydney’s west over the past month.
Amanpreet Singh, 28, was arrested at a home in Blacktown on Tuesday and charged with four counts of carry out sexual act with another without consent. He was refused bail to appear in Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday.
NSW Police said officers began an investigation after a man was seen allegedly committing a sexual act while parked in a blue Toyota Yaris sedan near a Blacktown bus stop where a 17-year-old girl was waiting on November 2.
Then on Monday the same girl was waiting in the same place when she allegedly saw the same man in a white Toyota Camry. Police said he drove past her, stopped and reversed, and then allegedly committed a sexual act while parked nearby.
Police will allege that Singh also followed two unknown women in a car in nearby Lalor Park while allegedly committing a sexual act on November 22, and that two days later he was seen committing a sexual act in the bushes near a Blacktown playground which contained numerous women and children.
