Two African men stabbed in horrific Airbnb brawl in Sydney’s west

One man is fighting for life and another is injured after an alleged knife fight broke out at an Airbnb rented by a group of Africans in Sydney’s west.

Paramedics were called to a unit block in Mays Hill, near Parramatta, in the early hours of Saturday morning and found a man in his 20s suffering from a life-threatening alleged stab wound to his torso.

Another man, of a similar age, was suffering from an alleged stab wound to the arm, and both were taken to Westfield Hospital.

A brawl is understood to have broken out inside an apartment where eight people were staying.

In a triple-zero calls obtained by Nine News a man can be heard saying: “Emergency, emergency? My friend’s about to die, my friend’s about to die.”

One resident of the apartment building where the alleged stabbing took place said the next morning they were still not allowed back in, while another man in a turban said the number plate of his car had been left smeared with blood.

“It feels a bit scared now, because we have kids along with us as well,” the turbaned man said in a thick accent.

An African woman said outside the building that said she and her friends were “just trying to have a good time” when the fight broke out.

“[The] boy that got f*cked up, hopefully he’s in the hospital,” she said.

“His face is bloody, and like at the end of the day I can’t believe that his face got bloody.”

Police said the two men were known to each other, but witnesses are not cooperating with police and no one has been charged.
