An African woman has been released on bail after threatening to “kill everyone” while being arrested for allegedly driving a stolen car through an Adelaide park, stealing tools and vandalising a car.
The alleged rampage began in Bonython Park at 8.15am on Thursday when the 32-year-old woman allegedly tried to steal a council worker’s excavator and truck before grabbing his metal rake and chasing him with it.
She then allegedly used the rake to smash a car windscreen before taking the vehicle from its owner, a 51-year-old man named Raj, and driving it into a bollard, 7 News reported.

Police arrived and arrested her in the park, and as she was being taken into custody she was filmed saying: “I’m going to kill everyone in that fucking jail, including all of these cops.”
“Yeah. I’m going to kill all of them, including the cops,” she continued.
“Look, look. Yeah, the camera is showing aggressiveness.”
The woman, who lives in Vale Park, was charged with disorderly behaviour, theft, illegal interference, illegal use, and property damage, but was granted bail.
She will face Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 30.
“I wouldn’t have approached her, that’s for sure,” the council worker said.
Raj, who had come to the park to feed the birds, was unable to drive his car home as it was examined at the scene before being towed.
