Police have made an appeal for public assistance tracking down a man who allegedly performed a sex act in front of a female train passenger in Sydney.
NSW Police said the alleged incident occurred at about 12.40pm on May 6 at Parramatta Railway Station, where the man allegedly followed the young woman onto a train and carried out the alleged sexual act.
Investigators from the North West Transport Command launched an investigation, and have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
“The man is described as Middle Eastern or Aboriginal appearance and aged between 20-30 years old,” police said.
“He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a blue, black and red jacket, black track pants and blue shoes.
“He was also seen in possession of a black pushbike with a blue basket attached to the front handlebars.”
The image also appears to show a small dog sitting inside the basket on the bicycle.
