Eight days before he was arrested over a Telegram post and thrown in jail – where he has been in solitary confinement for the last six weeks – Joel Davis wrote a piece on a term he coined earlier that month – Police State Multiculturalism.
“Our political establishment no longer in principle hold Australia to be a liberal democracy,” he wrote.
“Never mind that they will still call it a ‘democracy’. Our political class really means ‘multiculturalism’ when they say ‘democracy’ now. And they view it as the role of the police, not civil society, to deal with its critics and dissenters.”
Some readers dismissed the piece as hyperbolic, but everything that has happened since has proven him correct, beginning with his own arrest and incarceration for using an obvious metaphor in a Telegram post, and even though it followed months of political persecution of nationalist activists, including mass arrests on Australia Day in Adelaide and the subsequent jailing of Stephen Wells in inhumane conditions for four months on false charges, and non-stop police harassment and lawfare in Victoria.
This year has made it clear that Police State Multiculturalism is not only a real phenomenon but far worse than Davis made it seem, and NSW Premier Chris Minns has done more than anyone else to prove it.
Minns, who is not even a good local member (ask locals in his electorate about his litany of broken promises), and has made a series of extraordinary and accelerating statements and political decisions that have removed all doubt that a) we still live in a liberal democracy, and b) that multiculturalism can succeed without the suppression of the very civil liberties necessary for a democracy to function via ruthless and two-tiered police and judicial enforcement.
The Premier’s repeated statements that residents of NSW cannot have free speech because it’s incompatible with multiculturalism not only prove Davis’s point, but they made global headlines after the 11th or 12th time.

Tellingly, Mr Minns’ statements sparked more outrage in the mainstream media in the UK, which is in a similar situation and leads in the world in arrests for social media wrongthink, than they have in Australia, where journalists and corporate media outlets are fully onboard with the uniparty’s illiberal and anti-democratic trampling of free speech and political communication, just as they acted as cheerleaders for human-rights violating Covid restrictions.
In a piece about Minns’ comments in British newspaper The Telegraph, Sean Thomas wrote:
“This is such a startling admission that I confess, when I first heard it, that I did that meme where the guy blinks twice in bemused surprise. Because, of course, what Premier Minns came right out and said is what many people across the ‘free-speaking’ Western world have suspected for a long time.
The powers-that-be in Australia, the UK, and the EU believe you can have multiculturalism, and you can have free speech, but not both. And since multiculturalism must always come first, it is free speech that must yield, wither and ultimately die.”
But it’s not just those comments from Minns that illustrate how far the mask has come off when it comes to Police State Multiculturalism in the past two months, with other examples including, but not limited to, the following:
- The deportation of South Africa national Matthew Gruter for peacefully protesting against the Jewish lobby. Evidently pointing out that 0.4% of the population seems to have a disproportionate amount of political power and is pressuring the government to take away the freedoms of the other 99.6% is such a threat that you need to be expelled from Australia, while foreign killers, paedophiles and rapists get to stay. The protest is also the real reason Joel Davis is in jail, with authorities now declaring him a “national security risk”
- Immigration Minister Tony Burke promising to write laws tailor-made to ban his political opponents, White Australia, who are in the process of registering as a political party
- The AFP and ASIO focusing on “social cohesion” via Nazi symbols raids throughout November and early December instead of on Islamic radicals, allowing two ISIS-inspired gunmen to fly under the radar and carry out the Bondi massacre
- Federal and state governments and law enforcement ramping up their crackdown on “hate speech” after the massacre while trying to avoid mentioning radical Islam and even initially denying the attack was linked to religion, even though everyone knew it was
- New laws to protect multiculturalism and outlaw “hate speech” in response to Bondi, even though the attack wouldn’t have happened without multiculturalism and there’s no evidence “hate speech” was a contributing factor
- New laws to disarm law-abiding Australians while Minns looks at arming the IDF and Mossad-linked CSG private Jewish security group
- New laws to ban protests for up to three months to protect “social cohesion” (“invasion day” protests exempt, of course)
- The Victorian Premier banning anonymous social media accounts
- Police sparing no expense hunting down and charging right-wing White Australians for stickers, X posts, swords, PDFs, videos, hoodies, necklaces, boats and tattoos, all examples from the last month alone, because minorities might be offended
- Minns saying just today that police will “throw the book” at anyone caught delivering political flyers for White Australia, calling them “an incitement to racial hatred”

The last statement has sparked a bit of backlash on X, but will no doubt be ignored by the pro-multiculturalism corporate press.
It was good to see Senator Ralph Babet among those critical of Minns’ comments, writing:
“Imagine if I said anyone distributing Labor or Liberal Party brochures is a Marxist and that as Prime Minister or Premier, I’d have the police arrest and punish them.
See how that works?
Chris Minns isn’t just wrong. He’s a man so comfortable with coercion that he doesn’t even notice how authoritarian he sounds.”
But there’s an important point Babet is missing – the suppression of nationalist political speech is a necessary feature of Police State Multiculturalism, not a bug, and “Marxism” – really leftism in general – is vital to multiculturalism, and therefore exempt. The roles cannot be reversed.
Others pointed out that pro-Islamic political organisations such as Muslim Votes Matter and The Muslim Vote have been allowed to operate, but again, these organisations are a feature of multiculturalism, and not a threat to it. Minns, however, recognises that advocating for a pro-White Australian organisation is a threat, which is why he wants people arrested for putting flyers in letterboxes.
This also explains why only nationalists get deported for their political opinions, and why heinous criminals get to stay – foreign criminals are not a threat to multiculturalism, they are the inevitable result of it, and therefore must be minimised and worked around.
London’s antiwhite mayor Sadiq Khan once famously said that Muslim terrorist attacks were “part and parcel” of living in large global cities – and in the eyes of Police State Multiculturalism the same obviously applies to Pakistani child rape gangs in the UK, African machete gangs in Melbourne, and Somalian childcare fraudsters in the US.
We just have to accept Islamic terrorism and immigrant crime, but the state must “throw the book” at anyone who opposes having Muslims or said crime in their country.
Remember, no one voted for mass Muslim immigration, and most people still don’t want it. There’s never been a poll showing otherwise.
It has been imposed on us from above, just like multiculturalism in general, which is why it can only survive with ever-more restrictive laws banning criticism of it.
The most powerful Jewish lobby groups, for example, want to include criticism of Israel and Zionism in the definition of anti-Semitism, which is already a crime, and means you can get deported or go to jail for criticising them, but immigrants who rape children walk free.
But it’s not just the Muslims and the Jews – Minns himself pointed out this week that his hate speech laws “do not discriminate”, saying they will be used against anyone who criticises any minority group, it’s the whole program of multiculturalism being protected.
What this all comes down to is that in Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s beloved “modern Australia”, it’s now effectively illegal to oppose multiculturalism, either individually, or in political party policy.
If Australians had known that multiculturalism would not only mean millions of immigrants transforming their cities and towns, but also being jailed for complaining about it, we’d still have the White Australia Policy.
We never voted for Police State Multiculturalism, and now we must vote for whichever party will dismantle it.
